This workshop is a subtle and deep exploration of the last eight essays written by Sri Aurobindo in 1949-1950 and the Mother’s corresponding spiritual experiences afterwards, recorded in
Mother’s Agenda. His essays are published in the book
The Supramental Manifestation upon Earth. They are titled:
Message, Perfection of the Body, The Divine Body, Supermind and the Life Divine, Supermind and Humanity, Supermind in the Evolution and Mind of Light.
These writings of Sri Aurobindo reveal the profound evolutionary possibilities that lie ahead for Humanity with the descent of the Truth-Consciousness and its direct Action in Matter. Rather than approaching them as a lofty ideal or distant dream, we can reflect on some of these aspects in conjunction with the Mother’s dynamic experiments and spiritual discoveries in Matter. Together, they provide a living framework for Integral Sadhana - something we need today for a more complete and dynamic realisation, as the forces of the Divine Shakti hasten the evolutionary process.
To bring harmony within us and around us, this synthesis of the Higher Truth with our contextual realities is a necessity. And this synthesis has to take place at every moment, at every layer of the being, in the minutest details.
In this 7-day experiential immersion, we aspire to bring the Vast Vision into contact with the realities of the body, deepening its integration into our lived experience. Our particular focus will be on learning to organise the mind and the body's matter, and to progressively transform it through the Light of Truth and its accompanying Power. We will explore how Truth brings forth the hidden divinity in the body and inconscient.
By "Transformation," Sri Aurobindo doesn't mean mere purification. To understand the specific sense He gives to this term, both Impersonal Awareness and Subtilised Awareness are needed. Through simple practices, we can progressively awaken the capacity hidden within us to live in this dual awareness.
