The aspiration behind this mini-course is to cull insights and guidance from the lives of those who were taken into the luminous physical Presence of the Mother and Sri Aurobindo at the Pondicherry Ashram, and were transformed through their direct Divine Action. A great amount of light and delight can be found in the stories of the sadhaks who paved the path before us, faced challenges similar to ours, and ultimately led a Divine life in perfect surrender.

Some key anecdotes, some powerful letters exchanged between the Sadhak and the Gurus and some experiences in the daily lives of the Ashram inmates, when approached with deeper consciousness, reflect an early manifestation of the Original Leelamayi world. It is in the small details from that time that we find glimpses of future possibilities too. By entering inwardly into that sublime atmosphere, different parts of our being naturally come into a truer poise and learn to be infused with the Spirit of Integral Sadhana. The individual consciousness begins to get in touch with the Delight of Divine Play. Let us come together to explore these possibilities.

The stories of transformation from that time will nourish the Soul deeply and guide the fumbling steps of those who share the same kind of aspirations. These stories also highlight how the Divine works differently in each instrument and how the deeper aspiration in each one determines the relationship they have with the Divine. For every nature or temperament, there is something to learn here. While each sadhak is now expected to aspire for a direct inner connection with the Divine and rely solely on that, inspiration can be taken from these embodied lives during the course of our Integral Sadhana.
