Collective Healing & Conflict Resolution

This workshop will explore conflict resolution in the light of Sri Aurobindo. The framework will base itself on collective healing, applicable to any perception of ‘us’ and them’. The workshop will help participants become aware of what unconscious biases are and how one can navigate through them. It will use real past and present world situations where biases have existed and cannot be wished away. We will deal with narratives of ‘Others’; and ‘Us versus Them’, the root causes of intolerances, and inter-group incompatibilities. We will see how the power of love and empathetic communication help mitigate problems.

This workshop will help those who are having to deal with perceived intolerances directed towards them, who have a problematic ‘other’ to deal with, who want to become facilitators for group therapy and conflict resolution negotiators.

There will be no political agendas in this workshop and we will be careful not to get involved in any political arguments. Neutrality will be upheld even as we discuss various perceived partisan perspectives. Together, we will offer our positive vibrations to the world – to all parts that need healing.

Some items we will work on are:

1. Equality Practice
2. Collective Memories
3. Conflict Resolution
4. Empathic Communication
5. The Power of Love
