James met life-threatening illness when 21, before working at the Lloyd’s Market in London for 16 years and later as a director. A sudden calling changed his life and he came to India. He has remained in Pondicherry since 2000. A writer, healer and teacher, he is Coordinating Editor of NAMAH and has published A Torch in the Dark, that examines human growth in an integral and experiential way.
Invoking the Mother – Hold the Inner Flame

As we gather in the presence of the Mother, simultaneously we stoke the fire inside our hearts. It is the best way of building our aspiration. We hold the Inner Flame and watch it rise to ever greater heights. 

 

This Fire also purifies our being. With the Mother beside us, we offer and discard all our impurities and toss them onto this sacrificial Fire. We watch them burn away.


With conscious practice we can do this always. Presently, our practice may be somewhat stop-start. The aim is to make it continuous and that is the intention behind this workshop. Find out how in these sessions.
